In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.

The mission focuses on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
